Laurie Reed graduated with Master’s Degrees in Education and Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis, MO in 1984. Prior to completing her graduate work, Ms. Reed was a certified secondary education teacher and spent five years teaching in a variety of settings. She has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 1984 and in private practice since 1986; she became a Clinical Social Work Supervisor in 2004.

Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker allows Ms. Reed to provide individual and family psychotherapy and parent consultation about a variety of child-rearing issues. Ms. Reed has conducted training for mental health and legal professionals focused on best treatment practices for parents and children coping with the complex issues of parental separation and divorce.
